TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on Poffenberger Road

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 30, 2026) – The Washington County Highway Department announces a temporary road closure on Poffenberger Road to through traffic at the one lane bridge on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and plan accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the public’s patience and understanding.
